High-bay pallet racking system and automatic small parts warehouse

SSI Schaefer built a new logistics centre for retail company Müller in Ulm, Germany, with the purpose to provide stores with timely and accurate deliveries. The high-bay pallet racking system is able to store 39,000 pallets; the automatic small parts warehouse can accommodate 170,000 totes. The dimensions of the facility are impressive: 259 m in length, 104 m in width and a height of 33 m. (General contractor of this project: IWL)
