New Distribution Centre for ES3 -- Food Warehouse

Logistics service provider ES3 operates the world's largest foodstuffs warehouse in Pennsylvania. SSI Schaefer supplied the technical equipment. This includes in particular conveyor technology and robots for depalletising and palletising. When building a pallet, a pack pattern generator calculates the optimal stacking order of the goods, using machine vision technology. This leads to higher efficiency and fewer damaged goods.
