The carousel storage system consists of three carousels with a total capacity of up to 3417 totes for the pick to tote workstation. The rack system rotates until the required tote is in retrieval position. Than the shuttle extracts and replaces it with the tote that was picked before. The released storage capacity can be re used immediately. The state of the art control combined with the high performance conveying technology facilitates up to 700 storage and retrieval operations per hour.
